EDIT: adsfdg THANKS SOOO MUCH FOR THE DD! I'M SUPER HAPPY NOW <333 and thanks to all people who faved this pic, sorry i can't thank you one by one.

The original tittle is: Ghosts Aren't the Only Ones Who Run Wild around Graveyards, but damn DA don't let me put it haha.

I've been a bit innactive these days, i have a lot of works for the university, exams and that stuff (it sucks). But well, i tried to finish this pic that takes me a looot of time xD.

Jirocho and Gintoki from Gintama. Damn this saga was EPIC. Asadjdhs i'm so excited. Why silver haired men are so badass? WHY?

Run wild around graveyards by *Jeannette11 ( Suggested by Southrobin and Featured by Lyricanna )
Its my first time to ever see a DD about Gintama, and I never predicted it will ever happened,so I will write a full review about all the strong and weakness of this drawing.

The first things thats interest me is the perspective, which is a bit overused, yet always seems to bring the epic feelings of battle.

Other than the battle,I notice a slight of lighting effect on the katana, which is always good, but it would be better if you reduce the glowing effect since the setting take place on midnight, not to mention it was raining.

Talk about rain, the rain effect is one of the most simple, yet hard to do,not many people manage to make decent rain effect, and for this one,I could say it was very well done.

But,it would be more great if you could add another layer for the rain effect, the second layer are for the same effect but with less space on it,to make the rain more realistic.

About Gin in his rage mode, the red eyes add another badass point for this drawing, and I personally like the red glance that come out from his eyes.

The background itself is great,I dont think I need to give anything about this one.

The weakness of this drawing is also about the rain,as you can see,the drop of rain that touch the ground is not created carefully enough. I suggest you to use a little bit larger brush next time you make the drop of rain to the water,or by lowering the opacity a bit.

Overal, this is a great piece, the idea is quite original, the rain effect is nice, and I like the detail of the shading here.

The drawing itself,to be honest, miss something that would improve the impact, but even without it,this battle scene already good enough, especially since you manage to make Gin looks like was "moving" in this drawing.

Anyway,congratulation for the DD! ^^

I suppose I can't critique the character designs much, so I'll focus on execution of the background :)

The grave yard is an interesting setting, and I think you pulled of the perspective pretty well, though given the night time or raining setting, it seems a little bit light; more depth with darker shadows (particularly back by the wall) might be nice.

The rain effect in the foreground isn't bad, though It seems if it was more varied in size it would create more sense of depth too (I think the other person mentioned something like this).
Where the water splashes on the ground is probably the weakest, since they're very large swirls (as if on a pond surface in a light rain).
First, the base colour should be darker, and then with that amount of rain and water on the ground, there should be a lot more chaos from the rain ripples (you might want to check some references for that; I've done rain slicked ground before, and it took a while for me to get it right after a few false starts). You'd also likely see some reflection there at this relatively sharp angle- if you picked up a bit of that light coming from the distant sun on the horizon, it could look pretty slick [pun].

I hope that helps!

Wow awesome artwork!! Gintama is my fave anime ever. Any chance I could use this as a background visual for a music video on my music channel? With credit of course :) -
