I'm still very new to this whole critique thing, so pardon any mistakes!

This piece is so incredibly eye-catching, where do I even start? First of all, the details. The elegance of the linework n the hair and rooftops bring a gorgeous sense of realism to the piece. The birds in the corner are a simply marvelous addition to the composition as well! Second, the colors. Holy crow, they all work together so wonderfully! the red in the women's outfit compliments the sunset so nicely, and the dark in the buildings makes it look very full and exciting.Finally, the contrast in focus of the woman and the background make it look so incredibly realistic. Just looking at the sword and how it turns faded gives it an almost photographic feel. Overall, I'm absolutely in awe of this piece! I can tell there was a lot of time spent on it, keep up the good work!
